‘I’ve never been so depressed’: A mom who’s living the dream

A Minnesota mother is living the life of a princess with the help of a virtual reality game.

“I have been in the public market, where I am now living, and I’ve never experienced depression.

I’ve also never felt so alone,” Jessica Krumm told public radio station Public Market.

Her daughter is 8 years old.

The family moved from South Carolina to the Minnesota Twin Cities when she was born in June.

Krumm said her daughter had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder when she first arrived.

She was sent to a mental health facility, and when she returned, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, too.

Kumm said she has never been happier, and her daughter is starting kindergarten in November.

“It’s been hard, but I feel like I’m learning a lot and growing,” Krumt said.

The family is spending about $1,500 a month for rent in the city where they are.

She also is getting a new car, and they have been working to buy a home.

“We’ve put all our savings into it, but it’s also taken away some of the joy that she’s had growing up,” Krimm said.
