Public bathrooms are not the answer for sexual assault, advocates say

The New York Times has reported on a growing trend of schools using public bathrooms to house transgender students, often without their consent.

The New York Post, which broke the story, published a lengthy piece detailing how a school in the Bronx used a male-only restroom for transgender students.

A separate report from BuzzFeed News detailed the history of bullying and harassment in schools against transgender students at the high school where a transgender student is being housed.

These incidents are happening all across the country.

We’ve seen a surge of harassment against transgender people.

We’re seeing a surge in hate crimes against transgender kids in the United States.

The problem is the majority of these incidents are being reported to the police and school districts and not being reported in a proper manner to schools and communities, according to BuzzFeed News.

At least 10 transgender people have been killed in the U.S. in 2017 alone, according the Transgender Law Center, which works to protect and promote the rights of people who identify as transgender.

In the wake of the Orlando shooting, President Trump took to Twitter to say he “welcomes the courage” of transgender students and teachers who are “keeping our kids safe.”

He added: “This is a tragedy for all Americans, not just for transgender kids.

We must stand up for them.”

The White House has since issued a statement saying that the president is “disappointed” with the “misunderstanding” of the tweet, which was retweeted over 2,000 times.

In addition to Trump’s tweets, the White House released a statement on Friday saying the president “reaffirmed his commitment to the rights and equality of all Americans.”

In response to the president’s tweet, the National Center for Transgender Equality, a group that advocates for transgender people, issued a news release Friday saying it was “disgusted” by the president tweeting about “privacy issues” and the issue of transgender people “inclusive in education.”

“If the president really cared about this issue he would have made sure that his tweets weren’t about bathrooms and not about transgender students,” said Nicole Alexander, a transgender advocate and a director at the National Coalition for Transgender Rights.

“And instead he is trying to make a statement that he supports transgender students who are being bullied in school,” she said.

Alexandra Pineda, the executive director of the Transgender Education Resource Center, said that the White President’s tweet could lead to more “transphobic violence and discrimination.”

“If that’s what he wants to see, then it is not going to be the case,” she told The Huffington Post.

Pineda also said the president should “get the message.”

“This is not a tweet about restrooms.

This is a tweet that sends a message that if you want to have a bathroom, if you don’t want to use it, you better be comfortable with your gender,” she explained.

She added that the issue has been widely covered in media.

“If the White Trump really cares about this, he’s going to go after this.

He’s going.

And if the White Donald really cares, he should get the message.

We don’t need this.”

The White President, who has previously expressed anti-transgender sentiments, has tweeted about transgender people before.

In October, he tweeted, “Don’t try to convince me otherwise.

We need to keep our children safe.

Our children deserve better than this.”

Pressed by The Huffington Posts on the tweet earlier this week, Trump said, “I’m not going back on that tweet.

I’ve been saying it for years.

It’s been debunked by all the people that have looked at it.””

It was a lie.

I said that it was a statement of fact,” he added.

The president also tweeted in August that transgender people should “suck it up” and “take their medicine” and that they “don’t deserve to be bullied.”

A review of how to use the federal government’s new federal public school funding system

The Globe and Mail/Associated Press — March 26, 2020— As federal student aid has skyrocketed in recent years, some educators say they are struggling to meet the demands.

Now, the federal education department is reviewing how to better align federal student support with states’ needs to ensure that districts meet their education needs.

The review is expected to come out this summer.

It comes as states grapple with a new round of budget cuts, including a $50 billion reduction in federal student assistance to states and districts.

The new federal funding system, called the National School Lunch Program, will likely take effect in July 2019.

The federal funding formula was created in 1995 as part of the stimulus legislation to combat the recession.

It is aimed at helping states and localities address the needs of their residents.

But since then, many states and schools have struggled to find the money they need to provide essential programs, including after-school programs, after-hours tutoring and free meals.

Many districts also are struggling with the rising cost of building new classrooms and maintaining old ones.

Federal funding for student programs, however, is much lower than it was under the previous system, which included some federal grants for local schools.

The current formula gives states and students $20 for every dollar spent on education.

But federal student loans also can be forgiven, making it easier for students to borrow to pay for college.

For instance, some students have forgiven loans to attend college in exchange for an amount of money that can be paid off over a period of years.

The money can be repaid over several years.

That makes it easier to make payments on student loans, which can add up quickly.

But states and the federal student government have long struggled to make the funding system work, and they have not had much flexibility to adjust to the changing needs of students.

In a report released last month, the Congressional Budget Office said the federal public assistance program could be used more efficiently in the future if states and states’ districts were given greater flexibility to determine how much money should be spent on each student.

“We don’t have that flexibility in the current funding formula,” said the report, which also criticized the way the funding formula is calculated.

“It is very difficult to set an accurate rate for federal student help in an age of rising costs and growing enrollment.”

The report noted that the federal aid is only supposed to cover basic needs like meals, transportation, and other basic needs, not for more expensive specialized programs.

“States and districts are going to be looking to see if they can find efficiencies to increase their financial flexibility and make sure they are paying more,” said Dan Kahan, a spokesman for the Department for Education.

The Education Department said it is working with state and local school districts on the issue.

“The federal program is based on a national standard and we continue to listen to the states and our local school boards to ensure the formula is aligned with state needs,” said Chris Bock, a department spokesman.

He added that the departments goal is to find ways to streamline and improve the current system.

“This is not a new proposal,” he said.

“In the last year, we have been working with many states to work together to ensure all federal student grants are matched with the needs for each state and district.”

Some schools have already started adapting to the new funding system.

In Omaha, Nebraska, a school district is considering making the changes, and it is looking at the possibility of using federal aid, rather than private loans.

Why Cincinnati Public Libraries Are Being Hacked

Hacking is a crime in the United States, but the problem has gotten a lot more complicated thanks to the internet.

A cyberattack by the Chinese government on two of the nation’s largest public libraries in October 2016 resulted in the theft of data on more than 100 million libraries.

But this week, it looks like hackers have gone even further.

The FBI has confirmed that the hackers who breached the libraries used an “operational code” to access information and “make fraudulent use of the credentials.”

The agency said it is working with the library systems to determine whether the hackers used the same code to breach the libraries of the rest of the country.

If so, the bureau is calling the breach an act of cyberterrorism.

The investigation into the attack is ongoing, but officials say the perpetrators are still at large.

It’s unclear how the attackers were able to gain access to the libraries, and the FBI has not identified the hackers.

The library systems have been shut down for two weeks as a result of the breach, and there’s no word on whether the libraries will reopen.

The hack was a major embarrassment to the city of Cincinnati, which is famous for its libraries.

It has more than 1,000 public libraries.

The libraries are home to the Cincinnati Zoo, the Cincinnati Children’s Museum, the Ohio Science Center, the Museum of Natural History, the Greater Cincinnati Public Library, the University of Cincinnati Museum of Science and Industry, and many others.

The Cincinnati Public library was the site of a major fire in 2018.

In 2017, the city announced it would be shutting down libraries across the country in response to the attack.
